Hockey is Canada's game, and our sportsbook is built around it. There are odds on every NHL game this season, plus the KHL, the Champions Hockey League and international tournaments. You can bet moneylines, puck lines, totals, player props and futures, either before the game or live once the puck drops.
All odds at Ozoon are shown in American format (though you can change to decimal in your account settings). The favourite carries a minus sign: at -150, you stake $150 to win $100. The underdog carries a plus sign: at +130, a $100 bet wins $130.
Here's how that looks on a Leafs–Canadiens game, with $20 on each bet (example odds only):
| Bet | Odds | Profit on $20 | Total return |
|---|---|---|---|
| Maple Leafs to win (moneyline) | -150 | $13.33 | $33.33 |
| Canadiens to win (moneyline) | +130 | $26.00 | $46.00 |
| Maple Leafs -1.5 (puck line) | +160 | $32.00 | $52.00 |
| Canadiens +1.5 (puck line) | -190 | $10.53 | $30.53 |
| Over 6.5 goals (total) | -110 | $18.18 | $38.18 |
The quick maths:
You can also turn odds into a percentage. -150 works out to a 60% chance (150 ÷ 250), and +130 to about 43% (100 ÷ 230). If you think a team will win more often than its price suggests, that bet's worth a look.
Who wins the game, full stop. Overtime and shootouts count, so there's no draw. Most people start here.
Also known as the three-way or regulation line. You're betting on the score after 60 minutes: home win, draw or away win. Overtime doesn't count. Plenty of NHL games are tied after regulation, so the draw is a genuine option, and both teams are priced longer than on the moneyline.
Hockey's version of the spread. The favourite is -1.5 and has to win by two or more. The underdog is +1.5 and covers if it wins, or loses by one.
Keep the empty net in mind. When a team is down by one late on, the goalie usually gets pulled for an extra skater. One empty-netter can turn a 3–2 game into 4–2, cashing a -1.5 ticket and sinking a +1.5 one with seconds left.
Over or under the combined goals line, usually set at 5.5 or 6.5 in the NHL. Overtime and shootouts count unless the market says otherwise.
Bet on individual performance, whatever the final score: anytime goalscorer, points, assists, shots on goal and goalie saves. Props are void if the player does not dress, and your stake is returned. Build your own combinations with the Prop Builder, or see the day's picks in NHL Daily Specials.
Two or more picks on one ticket for a bigger payout, and every leg has to win. Same-game parlays let you mix markets from a single game, such as the Oilers to win plus over 6.5 goals.
Bet after puck drop on the moneyline, puck line and totals. Prices move with every goal, penalty and power play, so live betting rewards you for watching the game.
Stanley Cup winner, team season totals, and the big awards: the Hart, Vezina, Norris and Calder. Prices shift as the season goes on. Back the right team in October and you'll usually get a far better price than you would in April. See the latest Stanley Cup odds.
There's hockey on the board for most of the year. These are the main competitions, you'll find the full list in the Hockey A–Z menu.

Worth knowing: Canadian teams attract a lot of money from Canadian bettors. When that shortens their price, the other side of the game can offer better value.
No single player affects a hockey game like the goalie. Starters are normally confirmed on game day, often after the morning skate. If the backup gets the start, the line can move, so wait for confirmation if you like to bet early.
On the second night of a back-to-back, teams often start their backup and fade in the third period. Long road trips and time-zone changes can have the same effect.
The home coach gets the last line change, so they can pick the matchups they want. That edge is small but real, especially for teams with one dominant line.
Empty-net goals settle a lot of -1.5 bets. If you're backing a heavy favourite, the puck line pays better than the moneyline, as long as you're confident they'll win by two.
Prices move on injury news, goalie confirmations and where the money is going. If the line is moving against your pick, check the news before you bet.
Decide how much you're happy to spend before the season, and never chase losses. With 84 games per team, there is always another night.
Betting on hockey should be fun, not a way to make money. Only bet what you can afford to lose, and take a break if it stops feeling like entertainment.
You can set limits on your account or take time out whenever you need to. See Responsible Gaming for the tools available, or Self Exclusion to block your account.
+1.5 is the underdog's side of the puck line. Your bet wins if that team wins the game outright or loses by exactly one goal.
Yes, for moneylines, puck lines and totals, unless the market says otherwise. The exception is the 60-minute line, which settles on the score after regulation, so overtime and shootouts don't count.
A three-way bet on home win, draw or away win at the end of regulation. You get a draw option, and longer odds on each team than on the standard moneyline.
If the player doesn't dress, the prop is void and you get your full stake back.
Every NHL regular-season and playoff game, plus futures, awards and season-long player props. You can also bet on the KHL, the Champions Hockey League, international tournaments and more than 100 other leagues across North America and Europe.
Yes. Live odds are available on the moneyline, puck line and totals once the puck drops, and they update throughout the game.
