Cycling Odds & Betting

Ozoon offers cycling odds on the races that matter most, from the Grand Tours to the one-day Classics. All odds are shown in American format, and every account runs in Canadian dollars.

Our featured cycling market right now is Tour de France 2027 Outrights. As the season builds, we add stage, head-to-head and live markets around each major race.

Check the promotions page for the current welcome offer before you sign up.

Cycling Betting Markets at Ozoon

Cycling offers more ways to bet than just picking the winner. The markets below are the main types you'll find at Ozoon. Exactly what's available depends on the race and the point in the season.

Outright and Classification Markets

Outright markets appear under the Outrights tab and are usually posted well before a race begins.

  • Overall winner (General Classification): back the rider you think will win the race overall. This is cycling's flagship market and the one we open first for each Grand Tour.
  • Jersey classifications: where offered, the points (sprint), King of the Mountains and young rider classifications each have their own outright market.
  • Futures: longer-range prices on races that are months away, such as our current Tour de France 2027 market.

Stage Winner Markets

During a Grand Tour, we post stage winner markets as the race goes on. Each stage profile suits a different kind of rider:

  • flat stages usually end in a bunch sprint,
  • mountain finishes favour climbers,
  • time trials reward specialists against the clock.

Head-to-Head Markets

Head-to-head bets appear under the Game Lines tab. You pick which of two riders will finish higher on a stage or in the overall standings, and the rest of the result doesn't matter. This is a good market when you have a strong opinion about two riders but no clear view on the overall winner.

Live Betting

Where live betting is offered on a race, the odds update as the stage unfolds. They move when breakaways form, when attacks go on the final climb, and when sprint trains line up in the closing kilometres.

How to Read Cycling Odds

Ozoon shows all cycling odds in American format.

  • Minus odds (e.g. −150) show how much you need to stake to win $100. Favourites carry minus odds.
  • Plus odds (e.g. +400) show how much you win on a $100 stake. Outsiders and breakaway specialists carry plus odds.
Stake (CAD)Profit at −150Profit at +400
$10$6.67$40
$20$13.33$80
$50$33.33$200
$100$66.67$400

Profit shown excludes your returned stake.

Odds also tell you the implied chance of an outcome. At −150, the implied probability is 60%. At +400, it's 20%. When you add a selection, the bet slip calculates your potential return in CAD automatically.

The Grand Tours are three-week stage races with a new stage almost every day. The Tour de France draws the biggest betting interest. The Giro and Vuelta are known for steep climbs and unpredictable racing.

The Monuments are cycling's five most prestigious one-day races: Milan-San Remo, Tour of Flanders, Paris-Roubaix, Liège-Bastogne-Liège and Il Lombardia. Cobbles, short steep climbs and bad weather make upsets more common than in stage races.

Cycling Betting Tips: What Moves the Odds

  • Match riders to terrain. Climbers dominate mountain stages, sprinters win flat finishes, puncheurs suit short steep climbs, and time trialists gain time against the clock. Cobbled races reward a different type of rider again.
  • Follow team tactics. Domestiques control the peloton, lead-out trains decide who contests the sprint, and teams often give up stage wins to protect their leader. A strong rider on a weak team is a very different bet from the same rider on a dominant squad.
  • Watch the weather. Crosswinds can split the peloton, and extreme heat or cold changes which riders thrive on the same climb.
  • Read the breakaway. Some stage profiles favour the breakaway, while others almost always end in a bunch sprint. In live markets, odds move as the gap to the breakaway grows or shrinks.
  • Check recent form. Results in lead-up races such as the Critérium du Dauphiné or Tirreno-Adriatico are often the best guide to Grand Tour form.
