CFL Odds and Betting Lines

Every CFL game on our board gets a spread, a moneyline and a total, all in American odds. Lines go up early in the week and move as injury reports, depth charts and forecasts come in, so the number you see on Tuesday isn't always the one you'll get on Friday night.

You can keep betting once the game kicks off, and the CFL Futures board has Grey Cup odds running right up to the 113th Grey Cup at McMahon Stadium in Calgary on November 15, 2026.

CFL Odds Today

Next week's lines usually show up soon after the last game of the current week wraps up. A typical CFL game line looks something like this:

TeamSpreadTotalMoneyline
Hamilton Tiger-Cats-3.5 (-110)O 52.5 (-110)-165
Toronto Argonauts+3.5 (-110)U 52.5 (-110)+140

Example prices only. Today's CFL odds are on the board above.

Point spread. Hamilton at -3.5 have to win by four or more. Toronto at +3.5 cash if they lose by three or less, or just win the game. Half a point sounds like nothing until a late field goal lands right on the number.

Moneyline. No spread, just pick who wins. At -165 you'd put up $165 to make $100 on Hamilton. At +140, $100 on Toronto makes you $140.

Totals. Here you're betting on the combined score. Hamilton 30, Toronto 24 is 54 points, which clears 52.5, so the over wins. CFL totals tend to sit higher than NFL ones, and a few games on a 110-yard field will show you why.

Difference Between CFL and the NFL

A lot of people come to Canadian football betting from the NFL and assume the same habits carry over. Some do. Plenty don't.

Three downs instead of four changes the whole game. Teams throw more because they can't afford to waste a down, and one failed drive can hand the other side great field position. The field is bigger too: 110 yards long and 65 wide this season, with 20-yard end zones and 12 players a side. That's a lot of room for a quarterback who can move.

Weather counts for more than people think. BC Place in Vancouver is the only stadium with a roof, so by late October you're betting into wind in Regina and cold nights in Winnipeg. Totals in particular can shift in the last day before kickoff.

Then there's travel. Vancouver to Montreal is three time zones, and a long road trip on a short week shows up in late-season results.

And watch the quarterbacks. Backups in this league are often untested, so when a starter goes down the line moves hard. Check the injury report before you bet, not after.

What the 2026 Rule Changes Mean for Totals

From this season, a missed field goal that goes wide no longer gives up a single, and neither does a punt or kickoff that goes out the back or side of the end zone untouched. If the returner fields it and doesn't bring it out, that's still a point.

It sounds minor. If you bet totals or late spreads, it isn't. Those cheap singles used to break late ties and nudge totals over the number. Coaches also have less reason to try a long field goal just for a shot at a single, so expect more teams to go for it on third and short.

There's also a new 35-second play clock that starts the moment the last play is whistled dead.

2027 is when it really changes. The field drops to 100 yards, end zones shrink to 15, and the goalposts move to the back of the end zone. Nobody knows yet what that does to scoring, so expect totals to move around a lot in the first few weeks of 2027 while everyone catches up.

Live CFL Odds

Spreads, moneylines and totals stay open once the game starts and update after every possession. CFL games swing. A 10-point lead isn't safe for long when drives can end in three plays, which is why live betting suits this league so well.

Things worth watching: a strong wind favouring one end (teams switch ends every quarter), a starting QB heading to the medical tent, or a team winning the yardage battle but settling for field goals. Live CFL odds sit at the top of this page next to the upcoming games.

Grey Cup Odds and CFL Futures

The 113th Grey Cup is at McMahon Stadium in Calgary on November 15, 2026. Saskatchewan go in as defending champions after beating Montreal in last year's final.

Six teams make the playoffs, three from each division, with one twist. If the fourth-place team in one division finishes with more points than the third-place team in the other, it takes that spot as the crossover. First place in each division gets a bye straight to the Division Final, second hosts third in the Semi-Final, and the two division winners meet in the Grey Cup.

On the CFL Futures board you can back:

  • the Grey Cup winner, open from preseason through the final week
  • the East or West Division winner

Once the bracket is set, CFL playoff odds become regular game lines, and the Grey Cup line goes up as soon as both Division Finals are done. Futures prices shrink fast once teams clinch, so if you like a team, earlier is usually better value. Current Grey Cup odds are on the CFL Futures page.

CFL Betting FAQ

When do CFL odds come out?

Usually soon after the previous week's games finish. Grey Cup and division futures are up all season.

What's the difference between CFL playoff odds and Grey Cup odds?

Grey Cup odds are a bet on who wins it all. Playoff odds are lines on individual Semi-Final and Final games, once we know who's playing who.

Can I bet on CFL games live?

Yes. Spreads, moneylines and totals stay open during the game and update after each possession.
