Basketball is made for betting. NBA games regularly top 220 combined points, the lead can change hands three times in a quarter, and a garbage-time three can decide whether your spread bet cashes. We cover the NBA, WNBA, EuroLeague, college hoops and dozens of leagues worldwide, and you can bet before tip-off or while the game's on.
We list today's games in Next Events and Live at the top of this page. Each one shows the spread, the moneyline and the total. Tap a price and it lands on your bet slip; open the game itself for player props, quarter lines and team totals.
From October to April there's NBA on most nights, which for Canadian bettors means a steady supply of 10pm Eastern West Coast tip-offs. The playoffs run into June, the WNBA takes over for the summer, and EuroLeague fills the winter afternoons.
Check the injury report before you bet. Teams confirm lineups late, and when a star sits, our lines move quickly.
Every game has three main lines. We'll use a made-up Raptors vs Celtics game to show how each one works (example odds only).
The spread is the most-bet line in basketball. The favourite gives up points, the underdog gets them, and you're betting on the margin.

Take Boston -6.5 and you need the Celtics to win by seven or more. Take Toronto +6.5 and you're paid if the Raptors win, or lose by six or less. Both sides are -110, so a $110 bet pays $100 profit.
We add the half point to stop a tie. On a spread of exactly 6, a six-point Celtics win is a push and we return your stake.
Pick the winner. That's the whole bet.

A minus number is what you stake to win $100, so $240 on Boston pays $100 profit. A plus number is what $100 wins, so $100 on Toronto pays $195 profit. The wider the gap between the two, the more lopsided we think the game is.
A total ignores the result and looks at how many points both teams score between them.
Say we set it at 224.5. The over needs 225 or more, the under needs 224 or fewer, and both are -110. Fast-paced teams, high three-point volume and tired legs on a back-to-back all nudge totals one way or the other.
Player props let you bet on one player's night, such as points, rebounds, assists or threes, without worrying about the result. You can put your own together in our Prop Builder.
Parlays roll several picks into one bet at a bigger price, but every leg has to land. A Same Game Parlay works the same way inside a single game: the Raptors to cover, the game to go over and a player to score 25, all on one ticket.

It's a head start given to the underdog. The favourite has to win by more than the spread; the underdog can lose by less, or win outright, and you still get paid.
You stake $110 to win $100. We price most spreads and totals at or close to -110 on both sides.
It's a push and we return your stake. Lines with a half point, like -6.5, can't push.
Yes, for full-game spreads, moneylines and totals, unless the market says otherwise. Quarter and half bets settle on that period alone.
We void bets on it and return stakes. If it was part of a parlay, that leg drops out and the rest of the bet carries on at the adjusted price.
We settle most bets within minutes of the final buzzer. Live and prop bets settle as soon as their market is decided.
