Pirate Bonanza 2 turns the ship deck into a bomb map. Every cluster win leaves highlighted tiles behind, like the board is marking exactly where the next blast should land. The 6x5 grid pays from 5 or more matching symbols connected horizontally or vertically, then those symbols disappear and new ones drop in. That gives every win a chance to set up the next one, but the Cannon is the symbol that changes the whole round from treasure hunt to open fire.

If the Cannon is still around after the tumble ends, every highlighted square turns into a Bomb. Some Bombs reveal straight Multipliers, some bring X-Bomb values that multiply the Bomb total, and R-Bombs can reload freed spaces with new Bombs after the first explosion clears. Cannon Blast and Bombs Away both award 10 Free Spins, but they play differently. Cannon Blast resets highlighted squares after activation, while Bombs Away keeps them locked for the whole Bonus Round.
