Frosty Bonanza looks sweet, then immediately starts making you work for the good stuff. The game uses a 6x6 grid with symbols paying anywhere, and wins clear away so new symbols can tumble into place. The top of the board is locked in ice at the start of each base spin, with frozen cells needing to be cracked open before they can join the action. A normal candy board this is not.

The ice breaking is where the game starts to bite. Winning combinations next to locked cells can damage them, while Row Openers, Bombs, Surprise symbols, Wild Makers, Coins, and Coin Multipliers all bring different Ways to push the grid open or lift the value of a spin. Free Spins trigger from 3 or more Scatters, and in the Bonus, frozen cell progress stays in place instead of resetting between Spins. Once the lower rows open, Multipliers of 2x, 4x, and 8x can apply to wins, turning the thaw into the real chase.
