Royal Paws Maxways uses a 6-reel grid where each reel can have anywhere from 1 to 5 symbol positions, which means the number of Ways to Win changes every spin and can go as high as 86,436. There’s a Top Cart Reel above reels 2 through 5 as well, and this one refills from the right during cascades rather than from above. Everything in the game comes back to cascading wins, and Moving to Wild is the main base game feature.

Moving to Wild

During any spin, silver-framed symbols can appear on reels 2 through 6, taking up anywhere from 2 to 5 positions. If they are part of a win, they’ll upgrade to gold frames once the cascade clears. Gold-framed symbols that win on the next cascade transform into Wilds. The Wild then substitutes for all paying symbols from that point on.

Cat Multiplier

Each Cat Multiplier adds 2x to the Bonus Multiplier when a win occurs, and any more from cascades push it up by another 2x – so 3 Cats on one spin would give you 6x, and 4 would be 8x. Once that spin is done, the Multiplier resets.

Free Spins

Having 4 or more Scatters on the grid will get you 10 Free Spins, and each extra Scatter you land adds another 2 on top of that. The Cat Multiplier doesn’t reset between Free Spins, so it just accumulates with every Cat that appears throughout the entire Bonus. You can’t retrigger the Free Spins, but there is a Buy Feature at 100x your total bet.
