Panther Legacy moves through a dark jungle where gold coins flash between the leaves and a black panther tracks the action from the shadows. The game uses a 5x4 grid with 40 paylines, but the atmosphere does not feel like a standard treasure hunt. The panther, toucan, crocodile, carved stones, and coin symbols build a denser world around the reels, while the fixed Jackpots sit above the grid like prizes waiting to be dragged into the hunt.

The main action comes from Special symbols, Jackpot symbols, and the Collector. Special symbols can show Multiplier values up to 100x, while the Collector gathers visible Multiplier values from the screen. Wilds substitute for standard paying symbols and can land in stacks of four, giving the base game more weight. The Jackpot Game begins when 6 or more Special and/or Jackpot symbols land, starting with 3 Respins. Every new symbol resets the counter to 3, and all Special and Jackpot symbols remain sticky until the round ends or the grid fills.
