CUBES 2 is sharp, and weirdly unforgiving for something that looks this simple. The whole game sits on a 5x5 board of colored blocks, where 5 or more connected cubes of the same color create a win. Easy enough. Then the corner X cubes start causing problems. If a winning cluster reaches one of them, that corner turns into a Multiplier based on the size of the cluster. Catch two or more corners in the same hit, and those values add together before they multiply the win. So yes, the board looks calm. It is absolutely not calm.

The Free Spins feature brings the real color trap. Trigger it by landing winning clusters in 5 or more different colors, lighting up the logo and opening a mystery cube pick. The color you reveal becomes sticky for the feature, and matching wins in that color stay on the grid while Free Spins continue. The grid does not shrink between Spins, so the chosen color can keep stacking toward Color Blast rewards. Reach 50 sticky cubes for 500x, 70 for 2500x, or 90 for 7,000x.
