Flames and gold are everywhere in Hot Step 2. The grid glows red, the logo pulses at the top of the screen, and classic fruit symbols – Oranges, Lemons, Grapes, Plums, Cherries – fill 3 reels across 4 rows alongside Bells and BARs. It’s a warm-looking slot, and not complicated to get into at all.

How the Collector Works

Collectors can only land on reel 2. When one appears in base play, it stays on the board, but shifts down a single row after each spin, so it’ll be on the grid for a few rounds before disappearing off the bottom. In the Hold and Win Bonus, though, Collector symbols all lock in place and absorb the value of every Coin they can see.

Hold and Win Bonus

You need Coins on reels 1 and 3 with a Collector on reel 2 to get this started, though a mystery trigger can also fire it off without any warning at all. The round begins with 3 Respins, and that counter goes back to 3 whenever a fresh Coin or Collector symbol appears.

Coins Hunt Mode

Paying 7x your base bet activates Coins Hunt, which takes all the regular symbols off the reels and leaves only Coins and Collectors on the grid. Your chances of entering Hold and Win go up by about 5 times.
