Dragon Slayer

Dragon Slayer

Skip the spinning reels and hit Dragon Slayer, a game that gives you a cannon instead of a Spin button. Aim, fire, and watch your bullets fly into enemies for cash prizes.

If reels and paylines aren’t really your thing, Dragon Slayer might be worth a look. The gameplay is all about aim and timing. A cannon sits in the corner of the screen, fantasy creatures come at you from all angles, and you need to clear them out before they overrun your spot. Bullets bounce off the play area boundaries, so a misaimed round can still pay off – it might rebound a couple of times and take down a creature on its way back across.

The setting is heavy and atmospheric, with stormy skies hanging over the remains of an old castle and a heavy rock soundtrack thumping underneath. Wagers go anywhere between 0.01 and 10 per shot, depending on your room. The biggest creature on the paytable is a Premium Dragon paying up to 600x.

FEATURES

Bombing Feature

Two of the special prizes act as area bombs: the Mana Potion and a sharp-toothed treasure chest known as the Mimic. Both go off when collected, taking out a chunk of enemies and awarding you their bounties. Each also pays you a flat 20x.

Lock and Auto Fire

A couple of helpful little controls sit next to the cannon. Lock pins your aim onto a chosen target, so the cannon will fire at it continuously until that creature is dead. Auto Fire is the other one – it takes the clicking out of your hands altogether.

The Premium Dragons

Three of the dragons are flagged as Premium, with the biggest paying 120x to 600x for a single kill. At the higher bets, this can bring some serious loot. Bringing one down takes multiple shots, and you’ll want the Powerful Bullet upgrade switched on to speed things up against the larger targets.
