Multi-Table Tournaments

At Ozoon, we offer daily multi-table poker tournaments for players across Canada, with buy-ins ranging from low-stakes entries through to high-stakes scheduled events. Our MTT poker lobby includes Texas Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments alongside multiple tournament structures, including Knockout, Progressive Knockout, Mystery Knockout tournaments, Deep Stack and Turbo formats.

Guaranteed prize pool events run throughout the schedule to give both casuals and experienced tournament grinders access to online poker tournaments across a wide range of stakes and formats.

Tournament Schedule and Buy-Ins

Our tournament schedule runs daily across multiple time slots and covers micro-stakes, mid-stakes and high-stakes MTT poker events. Buy-ins currently range from $1 to $325. Guaranteed tournaments form a key part of the schedule, with minimum prize pools from $500 to $200,000 available regardless of field size.

At Ozoon, we also run satellite tournaments that allow you to qualify for higher buy-in events at a lower cost. With a mix of formats, structures and stake levels, the schedule is designed for both recreational players and dedicated tournament specialists.

Tournament Varieties and Structures We Offer

Knockout Tournaments

Knockout poker tournaments assign a bounty to every player in the field. When you eliminate an opponent, the bounty amount is paid directly to your account balance. This creates additional value beyond the standard prize pool and changes how players approach all-in situations throughout the tournament.

For example, in a $100+$9 event with $20 bounties, each elimination awards an immediate $20 payout. Top bounties here at Ozoon range from $500 to $2,000.

Progressive Knockout Events

Progressive Knockout tournaments split each bounty into two parts. One portion is paid immediately when you eliminate an opponent, while the remainder is added to your own bounty value. As you collect more eliminations, your bounty grows larger and more valuable.

The tournament winner also receives their own final bounty in addition to the regular first-place payout.

Mystery Knockout Series

Mystery Knockout tournaments introduce randomised bounty rewards during the in-the-money phase.

Some bounties may be small, while others can award significantly larger prizes. This creates a different late-stage dynamic compared to standard knockout formats and adds extra variance deep into the tournament.

Deep Stack Events

Deep stack tournaments begin with larger starting chip stacks and slower blind pressure during the early levels. This reduces short-term variance and gives you more room for post-flop decision-making.

Our signature deep stack events include Crazy8s, Lucky7s and Niners, which are designed for players who prefer longer and more strategic tournament sessions.

Speed-Based Structures

Turbo and Hyper-Turbo tournaments use accelerated blind levels that shorten total tournament length. These formats suit players looking for faster sessions without committing to a full multi-hour MTT.

Because blinds increase quickly, stack sizes become shallower earlier in the tournament and push/fold decisions occur more frequently than in standard structures.

Game Types and Variants

Texas Hold'em Tournaments

No-Limit Texas Hold’em is the primary tournament format here at Ozoon. It is available across knockout, deep stack, turbo and mystery bounty events. The game’s accessible rules and balanced strategy make it suitable for both newer players and experienced tournament regulars.

Omaha Poker Tournaments

Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments use four hole cards instead of two, creating larger pots and more complex post-flop situations than Hold’em. At Ozoon, we offer selected PLO tournament events for players who prefer more action-heavy tournament poker.

Tournament Strategy

Early Stage Approach

Early in an MTT, preserving your stack is generally more important than taking unnecessary risks. In knockout events, bounty opportunities matter, but disciplined chip management should still take priority.

Focus on exploiting overly aggressive opponents while avoiding marginal situations that threaten your tournament life too early.

Mid-Tournament Adjustments

As blinds increase and stacks become shorter, positional play and controlled aggression become more important. In knockout tournaments, short stacks carrying valuable bounties create profitable opportunities.

In standard MTTs, selective aggression and efficient stack preservation become key as the field approaches the money.

Late Game Excellence

Near the bubble and final table, ICM considerations heavily influence decision-making. In knockout formats, bounty values must also be factored into late-stage strategy. Strong tournament players balance aggression with survival during major pay jumps, where tournament equity becomes increasingly important.

Multi-Table Tournaments FAQ

What Is a Satellite Tournament?

A satellite tournament is a lower buy-in event where the prize is entry into a larger tournament instead of a direct cash payout. Satellites provide the opportunity to compete in higher-stakes MTTs at a fraction of the cost.

What Is the Difference Between Turbo and Hyper-Turbo Tournaments?

Turbo tournaments feature faster blind increases than standard MTTs, with levels often rising every five to six minutes. Hyper-Turbo tournaments move even faster, with blinds typically increasing every two to three minutes.

Can I Re-Enter an MTT at Ozoon if I Bust Early?

Some MTTs at Ozoon may allow re-entry during a designated registration period, depending on the tournament rules. Re-entry tournaments let eliminated players buy back into the event before the re-entry window closes.

How Are Prize Pools Distributed in MTTs?

In most MTTs, the prize pool is distributed among the highest-finishing players, with roughly the top 10–15% of entrants receiving payouts. Prize structures are usually top-heavy, meaning first place earns a significantly larger share than lower finishing positions.

What Does "In the Money" (ITM) Mean in Poker Tournaments?

"In the Money" (ITM) refers to finishing in a tournament position that earns a payout from the prize pool. The bubble is the final elimination before players reach the paid positions, making bubble play especially important strategically.
