Quarter Ball - Parlay Payout Examples

Split Ball Handicaps also known as Quarter Balls is the level of favoritism between a half ball and a whole ball. Here at Ozoon, your stake is split equally between the whole ball and half ball handicaps.

Half Push / Half Win Scenario

Here’s an example of a half push and half win scenario with a stake of $10; 

Selection A = 2.0 (Push & Win)

Selection B = 2.2 (Win)

Selection C = 1.91 (Win)

Selection D = 2.5 (Win)

Again the stake will be divided by two due to the push/win outcome, but this time the first half of the stake will be multiplied by the odds for the winning half of Selection A and the other half which pushed will be added to that afterwards before moving on to the winning outcomes;  

($10/2 * 2.0) + ($10/2) = $15

$15 * 2.2 * 1.91 * 2.5 = $157.57 

Half Push / Half Win Scenario - Multiple Legs

If we use the same example above, but make the Selection B outcome Push & Win as well, the calculation would look like this;

Selection A = 2.0 (Push & Win)

Selection B = 2.2 (Push & Win)

Selection C = 1.91 (Win)

Selection D = 2.5 (Win):

($10/2 * 2.0) + ($10/2) = $15

($15/2 * 2.2) + ($15/2) = $24

$24 * 1.91 * 2.5 = $114.6

The stake is divided into 2 for Selection A first and then the payout from that is your stake for Selection B which is divided by two again and then the payout from that will be the stake for two winners Selection C & D.

Half Push / Half Loss - Multiple Legs Scenario

Using the same example, here's how you calculate Selection A and B both being half losses; 

Selection A = 2.0 (Push & Loss)

Selection B = 2.2 (Push & Loss)

Selection C = 1.91 (Win)

Selection D = 2.5 (Win):

($10/2) = $5

($5/2) = $2.50

$2.50 * 1.91 * 2.5 = $11.94

The stake is divided into 2 for Selection A with half of it being a loss and half a push. The half that pushed is now the stake for Selection B and is divided into two, again the half that pushed becomes the stake for the two winners Selection C & D.

Half Push / Half Win + Half Push / Half Loss Scenario

Here is an example but with a mix of half wins and half losses between Selection A & B;

Selection A = 2.0 (Push & Win)

Selection B = 2.2 (Push & Loss)

Selection C = 1.91 (Win)

Selection D = 2.5 (Win):

($10/2 * 2.0) + ($10/2) = $15

($15/2) = $7.50

$7.50 * 1.91 * 2.5 = $35.81

The stake is divided into 2 for Selection A with half of it being a win and half a push. The payout from that is then the stake for Selection B, its divided into 2 and half is a loss and the other half a push. The half that pushed from Selection B then becomes the stake for the two winners Selection C & D.
