From its inception, Bitcoin was designed to prevent inflation. Only 21 million Bitcoins in total can ever be mined. Every 4 years or so, the network reduced its monetary resource to allow new Bitcoins to enter circulation. This is called halving and will commence this year on or around May 11th.
What to expect
You, the crypto user and player at Ozoon, will NOT be affected by Bitcoin Halving. Only Bitcoin miners have any cause for concern.
In the event your deposits or withdrawals are subject to price fluctuations resulting in loss of funds, we will gladly refund the difference. Simply contact our Customer Service Team to let us know.
Halving is expected to cause delayed confirmations on the Blockchain. It may take up to 2 hours for your deposit to post to your account. Normal time frames will resume approximately 12 hours after the halving process begins.
